Due to a critical illness in her family, Casey Husion has withdrawn from directing Something’s Afoot at the Goodspeed Opera House. Vince Pesce, originally choreographer of the production, will now also direct the show.
Hushion, who conceived this production, worked closely with Mr. Pesce as she consulted with the authors, chose the creative team and cast the show. Pesce, who choreographed Goodspeed’s recent production of Mame, also served as associate dhoreographer of Broadway’s Anything Goes, The Pajama Game, Wonderful Town and Little Shop of Horrors.
Synopsis: An old English mansion. A raging thunderstorm. Ten strangers. Murder, mystery, music and comedy abound when the guests disappear one by one – knocked off by cleverly fiendish devices. Join the fun as Miss Tweed the amateur sleuth sets out to solve the crimes…but the butler didn’t do it! With songs like “I Owe It All To Agatha Christie,” it’s a zany whodunit..
Something’s Afoot at the Goodspeed Opera House Oct. 5 – Dec. 9. Opening night is Oct. 24. For Tickets call 860-873-8668 or visit goodspeed.org.
